1. I can't decide which is more dreary --
the endless media coverage of the wedding, or the endless whining about it at DU.

2. I wasn't whining
I enjoyed the fashion side of the wedding but monarchs and this religious mumbo jumbo belong in the feudal era. An entire weekend of feudal symbols is way over the top.

5. Dead Pope? How could you forget the cannonization of Ronald Reagan?
Only Stalin lied in state longer than St. Ronny, and no other corpse ever racked up as many frequent flier miles.

7. No, but it is May sweeps (ratings)
What could be better for ratings than fairy tale weddings and moving dead popes out of the basement. Expect all the newz readers to move to Rome from London. Nice work if you can get it.
