A lesson learned

My Cat Tom pictured below with my dog Buddy was missing yesterday.
He never came in to eat or hang out as he usually does. This morning I went to the
local animal shelter looking for him . After going through all the rooms looking at
all the lost souls just broke my heart. He wasn't there . :-( As I was walking passed
all the rooms to leave one of the Senior cats was at the front of his cage just looking at
me. I thought I'd go in and say bye to him. I walked in passed some cages to his cage
when another cat Meowed. Wait that sounds familiar. Sure enough My Tom was Brought
in to that room after I had checked it. Had that old senior Cat not signaled to me I
would have left without my cat. After the Shelter verifications etc . Buddy and I have
our Tom Tom back.

Please everyone have your Animals microchipped, I was very lucky that Tom has a crook in his tail to ID
him. He now has a microchip. I'm just so thankful to have my Tom Tom

I'd be devastated if one of my furbabies went missing. One of my cats looks just like your Tom. He's an indoor cat but is always trying to sneak outside.
