Expansion OK'd for storing spent nuclear fuel at Beaver plant!
In issuing the amendment, the NRC stated that "There is reasonable assurance. ... that the activities authorized by this amendment can be conducted without endangering the health and safety of the public. ..."

1. Theere is Reasonable Assurance that the NRC Doesn't Give a Damn
about the health and safety of the public when it might inconvenience the nuclear industry.

2. Nothing is going to change the nuclear culture in this country except massive public attention
to the issue. I don't think that's going to happen, sorry to say.
