The balconey kiss....
was really lame....twice.

It didn't have that 'take me to bed or lose me forever' kinda feel/look to it.

Hope it "doesn't mean" anything....just sayin'.

4. did you lose your porncast or something....?
For gawd's sakes, it was the Royal couple after the most formal of weddings, in front of hundreds of thousands of people and a billion or more world wide. Did you really expect him to drop her right then and there and go to it? :eyes:

that they were doing what they were supposed to do to please the masses.

You must remember this, a kiss is just a kiss.

15. that photo of the little girl has gone viral..
Edited on Sat Apr-30-11 06:49 PM by hlthe2b
with all kinds of photo shop series...Google and see...

Actually, I cringe when I saw the photo as I just know how she will feel seeing it (after relentless teasing) several years from now. What adults find "cute," is quite often what subjects kids to relentless teasing (or worse) later in childhood. Hopefully, it will have been forgotten and not become a long term iconic image.

Edited on Sat Apr-30-11 07:04 PM by hlthe2b
Here's but one of countless examples:

As to my other point... yes, it is cute. She may not view it that way later on, however. Do you not have any photos of yourself from childhood you find embarrassing? Well, think how you'd feel if that had gone viral and become an iconic image, rather than just a photo in the scrapbook or digital photo frame your Mom loves so much... By the way, most of the websites are terming it the "grumpy bridesmaid"...

26. I understand what you are saying
I guess being involved with such a international thing has it's drawbacks. Unfortunate. I for one think it's cute, cannot imagine me ever thinking that is was silly and I am sure many people feel same. If she is embarrassed later in life that would really be bad. The picture is out of the bag now. I hope she can live her life normally without being teased over such a thing.

I am not really sure what could happen now about the picture.

My confusion was not about the "viral" issue btw- I know what google is. Thanks!

You can see in the famous photo that she is the one leaning up to kiss him and he is just accepting her kiss.

20. Well mebbe if one or the other had moved their arms around
into a bit of of *hug* or something STUPID like Will putting his arm behind her back and bending her backward a bit....and then the kiss....would have been fun.

I guess, I'm glad that they were "real" as much as possible. That's my point. I'll leave it at that if you don't understand.

30. The station I was watching missed it live.
They droned on forever about it and then missed it, showing the crowd. You only saw them coming apart.

They had to quickly show a replay like it was a football game.

Better luck at the next royal wedding.

when the Queen walked behind--he should also have groped her ass and tits too so that YOU wouldn't be disappointed.

Seriously? It was a kiss for a camera. Nothing more, nothing less.

I somehow don't think it would be proper if young Prince William, after exchanging a kiss with his new bride, were to say "Darling Duchess Catherine, do you know you 'ad Marmite on your tonsils?"

There seem to be people here complaining about the fact that young William didn't consummate his marriage to young Kate right on the balcony.
