There's a "tweet" at HuffPo suggesting the Washington Post
set Trump up. It's at the top of the page under Obama's picture. Oh my...LOL.

2. I was kind of wondering that myself.
Couldn't figure out why they'd have invited him otherwise. If they didn't actually mean to set him up, they might have invited him at least because they assumed Obama would make some birther jokes and they wanted to be sure he was there for the "news" value.

3. If they didn't, it sure worked out that way.
I was reminded of the scene in "Goodfellas" where Joe Pesci went to the safe house to be a made man. Shit!...bang.

4. Trump was not treated any rougher than anyone else who was zinged tonight.
He just took it worse than the rest did, so it looked worse than it was.

5. I'm sure Trump insisted on attending this dinner.
And he got his comeuppance upside the head.

6. Unless they lied to him about which event he'd be attending,
I'm not sure how they set him up.

7. I think they all thought he'd be greeted like a "statesman" or some
other crapola candidate. It didn't work out that way. He mentioned on the way in to some media that he doubted the President would even mention him...Wrong again donnie...

8. LOL. If so, Trump is even more delusional than I thought
If I were Trump, I wouldn't have been anywhere near the WHCD!

9. IF this is true, the GOP Powers that Be, who are terrified of a Trump candidacy
are the ones who set this up.

They need Trump to fall so they can put their chosen sock-puppet up for election.

Don't think, for ONE single moment, the Washington Post, part of our corporate media, would do this just to have Trump get his "comeuppance". Fact is, they're terrified he's serious about running, and with his poll numbers higher than any other Republican candidate, this has become seriously frightening to the corporate masters and their front group, the GOP.
