Rosneft/Russia may take over US company CITGO.

"In a crazy twist of international events, Russia's state-owned oil company Rosneft might end up owning Citgo, a US energy company based in Houston, Texas."

"This isn't a direct takeover. Instead, it hinges on the ability of Venezuela's state-run oil company to pay back its Russian loan. The Venezuelan company owns Citgo, which was used as collateral for the loan."

"Both Republican and Democratic lawmakers are highly alarmed. In hotly worded letters to the Trump Administration in recent days, members of Congress and senators warned that it could be a big problem for US national security if Russia gets a hold of Citgo."

Russian Oil Production Information?

Yesterday I saw a brief article (Can't remember where) that Russia was going to reduce oil production along with OPEC beginning in January. Is this true? It seemed to get lost in all of the other Russia stuff from yesterday.

I think it is time to stop giving Hillary Clinton's opponent so much press in this group.

Nearly half of the discussion threads include the name of the other person seeking the nomination and only about 1/4 include Hillary's name. There are many things to discuss about outside of the other candidate. I'd like to see the percentages flip at the very least.
