Mike is one of the founders of the punk band, Social Distortion, and the city commissioned my friend, the artist known as GERMS, to create a Mike Ness portrait which will be presented to Mike - along with the Key to the City - at a public ceremony.

If you're in the area, the event begins at 3 PM.
