The consensus? The vast majority of callers said they're ok with all Trump's lying because he's "their guy."
Their response left me pretty damn sad.
Joe, there's nothing new about RW lies. You on the right have kept your base riled up with RW lies, especially on Fox News and talk radio, for decades now.
You on the right conditioned your supporters to accept lying.
The only thing new is that Trump is much more blatant about the lying.

He was just horrid with the vitriol towards her when she first challenged the seat (and then won it).

(4,723 posts)I think if Trump issued an edict demanding his followers drink the same concoction they drank at Jonestown, we sane people would be digging a lot of graves the next day. If he told them to bring burnt offerings to a statue of him, they'd slaughter every animal they could get their hands on. They are rabid cultists. They forgive him for every rotten act in his miserable life. They blindly cheer on whatever he says or does. They will support Dear Leader at all costs, no matter what, do or die.

Anyway, I did find some of it interesting with liberals chiming in on different points. Name-calling seemed to be limited.
I don't know enough about history and economics to vouch for the veracity though.
