Rescuers resumed preparations on Tuesday for a third rescue operation deep into a cave complex in northern Thailand to free four remaining boys and their soccer coach in a race against time and monsoon weather.
Four more of the boys were carried on stretchers out of the labyrinthine Tham Luang cave on the Myanmar border on Monday, bringing to eight the total number brought out so far after two rescue pushes in successive days.
The head of the operation, Narongsak Osottanakorn, said rescuers had learned from experience and were two hours faster in bringing the second batch of survivors out as scattered monsoon rains continued to risk flooding the tunnels with water.

Hopefully they'll be able to finish the rescue with this push.

OP
They did, but I believe the coach is weakened due to his sacrifice for the boys. nt

He is a remarkable young man. I doubt any of them would have survived without him.

first 2 operations.

That would be really great - although that might just be too much on top of everything. Most important is that they all get out safely.

The four boys and their coach, EK.
This will be the hardest retrieval, they are the weakest and will need the most help.
God speed.

These boys were left to eat and drink fluids to strengthen themselves. The coach, he is the weakest. What little food they had he gave his share to the boys. He had them huddle together for warmth, taught them to get fresh water that dripped from the walls and taught them mediation. The coach had no food for 9 days, he is the weakest and will come out last.
