Donald Trump Jr. shoots guns from Utah company with ties to polygamous sect
Awesome time, guys, Trump Jr. wrote on Instagram below a photo of him aiming a rifle. Cant wait to do it again soon.
Desert Tech has gained attention for its ties to the Davis County Cooperative Society, also known as the Latter-Day Church of Christ, the Kingston Group or The Order. The Southern Poverty Law Center has designated the sect, which includes members who practice polygamy, as a hate group.
Some former members of the church have called the sect a criminal enterprise that is inherently abusive to women and children. Some of those former members on Sunday criticized the sight of the U.S. presidents son promoting a company linked to the Kingston Group.
Its disgusting that any member of the Trump family is all smiles taking a photo with someone that is a member of this disgusting cult, former Kingston Group member Melissa Ellis wrote in a text to The Salt Lake Tribune.

(4,407 posts)Looks like CoVid-19 protections are contributing to "justice delayed is justice denied the People," but it could give a lengthy cover to the complicit "associates" Dimwit Donnie and/or Junior would assert he doesn't know.
Seems that polygamy and abuse are just the headliner of possible ties to other possible Trump, Jr. and his widdle daddy's nasty treachery - moneylaundering, fraudulent energy contracts, fraudulent arms manipulations and contracts, perhaps ties of supplies to those Barr/Trump unmarked paramilitary LE types? What sheriff's offices made use of that government contract?
Then there's the FBI wariness not to escalate stand-offs as what transpired with David Koresh's Branch Dividians (7th Day Adventist's splinter religious(?) group not LDS) that raised all kinds of strong criticism about brutal aggression of LE and retaliatory violence outside the case and across the nation with ties to what happened in Oklahoma City. Yup, lots of gristle to chew on and a good pandemic excuse to keep lots of obstructive stalling and silence.
SHM still....

(6,415 posts)...they are one really nasty bunch. They own properties, businesses, farms, etc. From what I read, the "congregation" works for the businesses at a low wage....but live in Kingston Group properties, how good the arrangements are, depends on how much favor you have with the leadership.
They also deposit all their money into the Kingston Bank...and if you want to draw out any significant savings...it takes over a week and draws attention. Making it, almost impossible to escape when they start following you, harassing, make it difficult to go to the bank, false imprisonment, etc.
So awash in cash from renting, selling crops, etc. they continue to grow the financial empire.
And it gets worse, if there are too many males, they often get the boot and forced into living in the streets, with nothing other than the clothes they are wearing. This is to make sure the leadership or up and coming leadership get their top choices of new "brides". And it doesn't stop there, its not unheard of an uncle marrying his niece. I'll let that sink in.
