Donald J. Trump

My visits last week to Texas and Frorida had massive numbers of cheering people gathered along the roads and highways, thousands and thousands, even bigger (by far) than the crowds of 2016. Saw no Biden supporters, and yet some in the Fake News said it was an equal number. Sad!

Wow! Really bad TV Ratings for Morning Joe (@JoeNBC). @foxandfriends doing great, leading all others by far. @CNN not a factor!!!

Who the hell cares about TV ratings, unless you own the TV station or you are one of the personalities being rated? Why is the President constantly tweeting book reviews, and TV ratings instead of trying to prevent Americans from dying?

Republicans called my husband and brother-in-law the grifters, because they wrote a parody book about Trump and donated all of the proceeds to charity. Meanwhile the Trumps literally stole money from a childrens cancer charity and the GOP loves them.

(10,305 posts)Sure his first season got as many as 28 million viewers, but it was downhill from there. His final season as "Celebrity Apprentice" garnered about 7.6 million viewers. Arnold Schwarzenegger tried to follow but the show was dead by then.
Across the pond in the UK, The Apprentice has an actual businessman as host (Alan Sugar), the show started on BBC Two and because it did well there (4 million viewers), the show moved to BBC One and doubled its audience. Given the population of the UK is a fifth of the USA, it's like having an audience of 40 million viewers. Unlike the US Apprentice, the UK show is still going (in its original form, no "celebrity" bullshit), though Covid might mean it'll take a break for a year.
