The New York times has provided a list of organizations you can donate to if you want to donate to Lebanon. I'm including a link to the Times article, along with a condensed list of links to the organizations they endorse. Most of these links are devoted directly to Lebanon aid:

Thanks for the link. I had tried earlier to use the Lebanon Red Cross but the donation form was a pain for me.

(17,193 posts)was a bit leery about putting my card info out there. The British Red Cross site says they're working directly with the Lebanese Red Cross, and the PayPal option cinched it. PayPal automatically converts pounds to dollars. It's easy and secure.
"The British Red Cross is working closely with the Lebanese Red Cross who have been at the heart of the response. The immediate focus is on saving lives."
Lebanon Red Cross is immediate boots on the ground now. I'm hoping our donations translate to right-now action.
