That's all I can really say right now.
Three and a half years of this shit. (Five, if you count the 2016 campaign).
Day in and day out, a daily kick to the head.
I can't wait until this cloud finally lifts from our land. And I pray that day will be January 20th of next year.

(16,616 posts)I really admire people who have kept it together. Most days I can. But this morning I awoke around midnight with a headache and burning in my stomach thinking about Trump sabotaging the election. At 1AM there was a repeat of Rachel's show, and my blood pressure exploded. Never went back to bed. Wrote some angry political emails. What I want to know is, When do we get to recover? Recovery is important. Like you said, it's been nonstop madness for four years.

We cant remove external problems at will, but in terms of our inner world we can develop tolerance, forgiveness and contentment. If we have developed peace of mind, we can remain calm no matter what happens in the outside world.
