Hawaii repubs pushing stand your ground law in the islands....
in a state run by dems the repubs are using the same old gun nutter language to let people shoot other people and claim self defense even if that person was not threatened (want to shoot people interfering with others).
bill has passed its first reading in first government committee run by dems.
gun crime in hawaii is quite low.
