“Two in 3 Americans approve of President Biden’s handling of the coronavirus pandemic, according to a poll by ABC News-Ipsos, with widespread support for his efforts to pass a relief bill.”

“Biden’s 67% approval on handling the coronavirus contrasts sharply with how Americans felt President Donald Trump handled the pandemic. In October, 61% said they disapproved of Trump’s response to the coronavirus.”

that would mean rich people might have to be part of the country and can't not pay taxes and can't isolate themselves in their private schools, private hospitals and private neighbourhoods etc... .

Moscow Mitch, Faux Lying Fest, Rep BONER, et al,

I'm thinking Biden speaks softly and honestly, but carries a big ass stick to getting this done, because he remembers how it all went then too.

His mother taught him not to run from bullies.

She is the one with the family who is from County Mayo Ireland like my grandparents.
The men are handsome, charming, extroverted.
But they will fight you to the finish if you are on the side of wrong.
And love every minute of it.

The women are beautiful and total spitfires.

Maybe it isn't the first time I'm saying this out loud... But Biden has surpassed every expectation and what I had merely hoped for. in just a little over two weeks for pete's sake, I really can't believe he's just been office for this short period of time and done so much.

So MUCH GOOD.

Biden was the best choice for cleaning up the mess and setting us on a better path. But he has exceeded my hopes and expectations in such a short time. Imagine what else he can accomplish if we have his back and win more seats in 2022!

on pins and needles about it. I have no idea what the ground game looks like. I see potential candidates to run opposition to a few of the nut jobs, but not lot. Hopefully there are more candidates on our side flying under the radar.

what happened in 2010. The Senate lead is razor thin now. Can't afford any losses.

I am hoping that the Biden policies now will attract enough voters in 2022 to increase at least a couple Senate and House seats, especially if the public sees the R's trying to block Dem policies and programs that people want.

I remember it well. The Tea Party bullshit. People wanted to have "Coffee Parties" to strategize to win back Congress.

I don't want to go back that.

And I love how progressive he is.

Mon Feb 8, 2021, 12:03 AM

Ah, who cares what Larry Summers has to say. He was the guy who advised Obama to go small in 2009 in response to the financial big boyz damn near ruining the global economy. Going small resulted in needless additional suffering and financial calamity for millions. Summers later conceded that he'd been wrong. This time around, Summers says the relief package needs to be small because something something bond traders or some other privileged class might lose some of their privilege and then we'll all be sorry!
