I LOVED Psaki's response. It was so perfect.

(7,289 posts)Although, I have to say a few of the reporters I generally give a certain amount of credibility (skosh more than Faux network) have been sending hairs up on the back my neck .
Their questions seem as a phony attempt at trying to appear unbiased. The frequent deviation or focus from away from legitimate policy issues, seems to be a frequent tendency to pretend facts in question have not already been revealed over and over again, or it's the thing with the bi-partisanship constantly beating the drum on that point over and over and over again, as if it wasn't happening via resolution and the bi partisan vote.

(47,750 posts)Yeah, I was really disappointed with a few of them. It is like the last four years never happened.

(7,289 posts)it's frankly unconscionable in my opinion. Especially from NPR. But on the other hand, it's consistent with what they've been doing with every Democratic President since Clinton. Which brought Tea Party legitimacy and then Trumpism.

Now they'll say anything to get the flock back.

(2,893 posts)Lived in KC for many years and the city is predominantly Democratic, while Tampa is generally thought of as a trumpublican city/area...also, knowing Brady is a big time drumper I can't agree...I see your point about the blow out win being more of a democratic nature but the specifics involved make me go naaaaah...again, not a rant just a fun disagreement...
Tampa is definitely Democratic.

(82,849 posts)Anyway, let's just agree that nobody is currently working on a "prospective job." If a job doesn't exist, nobody has lost that job. I'd also be interested in where that number (10,000) came from: The petroleum industry? Also, those 1,000 jobs on the Keystone XL pipeline were going to go away in a number of months anyway as soon as the pipeline was completed. The next job on the pipeline was going to be for some PR flack to explain how minor the leak in the pipeline was, downplay the number of gallons or barrels spilled, and minimize the impact of all that sludge on the Oglalla Aquifer, the farmers who water their crops from it, and the towns and cities that draw their water from it.
