Soooooo...what TF is happening with Stimulus?

I swear, this dragging into March BS is killing me!

How much longer can we continue to hold on by our fucking fingernails?

I know things have to go through a process, but COME ON!

Seriously, I have done everything possible on my end to try and get ahead...filed taxes early (but the IRS wont even start taking returns till friday) can't do anything on my unemployment (damn thing is locked out and there's no way to even "keep certifying" )...etc

this is maddening

The whole thing has to go through an analysis by the various committees and the parliamentarian who has to analyze whether and how much of it can be passed by reconciliation. It's actually going pretty fast, considering its size and complexity. https://www.washingtonpost.com/us-policy/2021/02/05/house-biden-stimulus-harris-tiebreaker/

That is frustrating even though I had to pay taxes of 945.00. I wanted it there in case they go by 2020 returns. 1400 dollars would be replacement for the money I had to spend. Alas, I’m not even sure any of us will see a penny for awhile.

One car is in the shop with a blown motor. Still making payments on that one. We will bail it out with the stimulus check plus two grand (that we are trying to save).

My very old car has a serious carbon monoxide leak. Driving with the windows open a few inches is helping but it's damn cold in NY. I don't know if my headache is from the cold or deadly air.

It was really hard. I got my W2 recently and we survived on less than my first job out of college paid... I wish you good fortune from now on...(the opposite of a curse!)

I have been faced with the "things come in 3's. First the car, then a plumbing situation, and following that, a heating problem. Different problems, same frustration.

Never would I dream that things would be so bad for so many of my fellow Americans.
Four years of hell sent us into the mess we are in, how many years to correct this mess? I bet I won't be around to see things back to "normal". Good luck, you are a member of a big group.
