I can see Trump's defense now in the Georgia case

“He was president at the time of this, meaning he can only be impeached for this. He can’t be prosecuted. ”.....obviously, this is the exact opposite point they are making on this impeachment case

state prosecution. So it doesn't apply in either case (also probably wouldn't apply if SCOTUS ever rendered an opinion on a Federal indictment of a sitting President, but that's another matter). He's no longer President when INDICTED AND PROSECUTED and there is no state provision regardless in GA or any other state.
