National Republicans dive into Newsom recall push

The Republican National Committee is sending $250,000 to help the state GOP force a vote over whether the first-term Democrat should remain in office.

National Republicans for the first time are jumping into the effort to recall California Gov. Gavin Newsom, the party’s most aggressive move yet to oust the first-term Democrat.

The Republican National Committee is investing $250,000 into the recall campaign, launching a digital and texting program encouraging Californians to sign onto a petition that would qualify the recall for a vote later this year.

To this point, the national party had stayed out of the recall effort, instead leaving it up to local activists to gather signatures. Two state-based groups that have been helping to lead the push, the California Patriot Coalition and Rescue California, say they have over 1.5 million signatures and project they will have 1.6 million by the end of the weekend.

Organizers must submit 1.5 million valid signatures to the secretary of state’s office by March 17 in order to qualify the recall for the ballot, but they say they are trying to gather hundreds of thousands more because elections officials inevitably deem some invalid.

California’s population is diverse.
No race or ethnic group constitutes a majority of California’s population: 39% of state residents are Latino, 37% are white, 15% are Asian American, 6% are African American, 3% are multiracial, and fewer than 1% are American Indian or Pacific Islander, according to the 2018 American Community Survey. Latinos surpassed whites as the state’s single largest ethnic group in 2014.

11. Governing means making it better for people. They don't want better.

They want the wild west with no middleclass and the educated elites so afraid of losing their position that their souls get corrupted and they vote republican. Meanwhile the GOP base votes for one racist or another. Basically everyone is voting out of one horrific emotion or another. No reason voting. The elites entrenched and not paying taxes.

combined to the Pandemic and what the Biden Administration is doing including COVID-19 relief and trying to turn around the economy and trying to keep people healthy, I'll say SUCK IT republicans.

Also, I read that McCarthy one of the main criticizers of Newsom for attending an event with no mask, ummmmmmmmmmmmm, his son got married and he himself wore no mask and had many quests.
