4. Very minimal range. I'm sure she will bring some "eyes" to the show, but...

I find her voice very ordinary among teen performers. I'm with judge Luke Bryan on this one (who voted "no" ). I rather believe Katy Perry and Lionel Ritchey--both very outspoken Dem/Progressives-- voted "yes" partially to deflect accusations of "bias." Off topic, but damn, someone should tell her to ditch the blue undertone reddish lipstick. It truly makes her teeth look very dark.

That said, I don't watch the show, so that clip is all I will likely see.

I haven’t watched American Idol in years, but I remember it being about giving people a chance. Does she deserve to get a chance, I don’t know. She seems to have talent that needs good mentoring.

10. and Katy likewise told her she had limited range. Producers can make a "talent" out of

just about anything--for a while--if enough $$ and hype is applied. Somehow, I don't see that there will be much return on investment beyond a few more "eyes" to Idol, Richie's mentoring offer, notwithstanding.

That said, I'm glad she's living her dream. I certainly don't hold the daughter responsible for the actions or politics of the parents.
