they only care about "states rights" when it helps them suppress some liberal law.

is spreading the proliferation of firearms, and making it easier to conceal those firearms. What would we do without MTG?

I don't know about you, but I'd like to find out what we'd do without her. What a waste of perfectly good molecules.

When the next horde of anti-Democratic nut jobs attempt taking over the Gov. again next time will there be addition rights for them to defend the fact they are carrying weapons to the act from out of state?

Because I'm sure Greene knows that a law this batshit crazy would go to SCOTUS and they'd support it with a 6 - 3 majority. This could get really ugly.

Make her the hero and keep the bat shitter in office so they have this "plum" bill for her to get support? Biden couldn't veto if the SCROTUS makes it "Constitutional."

Is this logical:

Well if a Musket=Assault "weapon of war" rifle then Assault "weapon of war" rifle=bombs then The Constitution does not outlaw bombs and arms like nukes for self-defense.

Yup and I think that's the plan too. That just seems like it would be primed to be set up for a very expensive, very long, and very intimidating legal challenge. And it's something that if it actually got to SCOTUS with a 6-3 majority, would not end well.

and the White House. Not to mention any Congressional committees that Democrats control, which is all of them. Nice work, Marjorie. Oh, wait, there's not really any work for a doofus like you to be a co-sponsor. I'm shocked they allowed the bill to be tainted with her name.

20. As a professional building contractor I want a "Contractor's License Reciprocity Act"!
Tue Feb 16, 2021, 06:41 PM
Feb 2021

In CA I had a General Contractor's license. It allowed me to do any job (less than 3 stories, above that it gets more specialized in CA due to earthquakes & allowable soil bearing pressure on adobe clay soils etc) throughout the entire state. It didn't limit me to just residential jobs, I could have also done commercial jobs with my license. Heck, I could have bid on the RFPs that were put out to rebuild the East Bay Bridge & if I won the RFP, I could have built a bridge half way across the Bay with my license.

To get that license I had to take 8 hours of tests, 4 hours of which covered the details of every trade (yes EVERY trade, I had to know everything that every tradesperson or subcontractor who worked for me knew, the entire building code was fair game, & PLEASE don't for a single minute put down people who "just work in construction"... some of us take it seriously because it ensures YOUR safety), plus a 4 hour test of business knowledge. It was a long day, but I took both exams on the same day & passed with scores in the 95%-97% range.

Then I moved to FL... & what did all of that get me? NOTHING. Literally nothing. No contractor's license reciprocity at all, no credit for what I had done in CA.

I believe that for FL it's all a money-making racket. Why? Because in order to do what I could do with my CA license I would need to get 6 (yes SIX) FL licenses because of the way they divide up their licenses. And you have to take 2 tests for each one (I think, I started researching it & gave up because it was ridiculous), & of course pay a fee for each test, & none of the tests are offered on the same day, & none of them are offered near where I live.

I'm perfectly happy taking a test that covers specific FL state & municipal deviations from the ICC (International Code Council) building code for things like sandy soil & hurricanes (ironically in CA I had to use Simpson "hurricane ties" to tie framing together because of earthquakes, & ask me about shear walls, please) but to make me go all the way back to the start? And get no credit for what I've done? As if I know NOTHING?

Thanks for listening to my MDUG (Mad DU Guy) talk. If you want to help hard-working small business owners like me (as well as potential out-of-state customers who could use our services, sometimes desperately, which might one day include YOU) please do what you can to promote a Contractor's Reciprocity Act.

Thank you...

To be fair, Why can't a gun owner donate a bullet to say, a politician?

They can be recycled for the high grade brass, the gunpowder can make cool fireworks for the 4th of July.
or they can send a simple message too, one made of the wildest assumptions and worst expectations.

Not the donors problem if the unsolicited recipients choose to jump to conclusions, is it?
