(3,020 posts)And besides, their older 'Gigafactories' are currently being refitted to add in on-site solar panels so I'd expect that the new factory will have on-site solar as well.

(42,688 posts)My area got a big influx after Toyota moved their headquarters here, something for which Gov. Abbott gave himself many Texas-sized pats on the back. Wonder how many Toyota execs are now thinking, OMG, what have we done?

(21,288 posts)I packed up a retired couple in November moving to Houston who were very nice. And an Uber rich guy last month from Silicon Valley to Austin. Ive been wondering what they think about those moves now?
