I just caught the last part of a story which mentioned that Ted Cruz was handing out bottled water to people in Texas, after last week's Cancun debacle. Did anyone see if they mentioned what AOC had done along with her other fellow Texas congresswomen? Like 4 million bucks raised is worth a mention is it not?

(9,990 posts)... they also showed a bit of the traveling footage. I think the damage is done. People know he's not interested in handing out water and is only responding to bad moves.

(3,112 posts)I didn't see a mention of AOC but I didn't see the whole report. I am not surprised she didn't get mentioned. The MSM has made the pivot, now that Biden is in the WH, of scrutinizing the left more. That's fair, but in this case it's not. A seditionist Texas senator tries to escape to Mexico to avoid his senatorial responsibilities during a statewide emergency, then returns in shame to do some nominal water bottle work, while an out-of-state congresswoman from the other party rallies to the aid of HIS constituents by leading a multi million dollar charitable campaign.
Ya, no need to compare the two.
