but...he belongs there. As one looking in from the outside, I can't imagine his life experiences, and what these days feel like. So many of our leaders are leaving. They went through so much, achieved so much, and here we are.

After medical observation, diagnosis and successful surgery, Rev. Jackson continued with a normal recovery. Because of his Parkinsons disease, the medical staff at Northwestern has made a normal transfer of Rev. Jackson to the Shirley Ryan Rehabilitation Center for a short period of exercise and therapy, PUSH officials said in a statement late Saturday night.

... could tell something was not right. I checked Twitter and some comments were unkind. The more kind ones simply said he seemed lost. However, I'm happy he was there, and spoke. He was aware of the importance, I believe. We can't just throw away people who are older and may not look 100%... include them and celebrate their lives. Cheers to Jesse Jackson!

It is painful to watch on a daily basis. Wishing all my best to Reverend Jackson, I know it is not easy!
