It was obviously a pretextual stop which often are very racist. Hassin Bin Sober Apr 2021 #12

They claim they had intelligence on guns. I would like to see it.

The physical altercation happened when the driver tried to bolt out the passenger side after refusing to exit the vehicle.

It sucks but you lose many of your rights once you enter that vehicle. I don’t agree with it but the Supreme Court, including the liberal Justices, decided unanimously that pretextual stops are legitimate.

Once they pull you over you have to exit the vehicle upon demand. Again, according to the Supreme Court. I don’t agree with it.

The driver knew he was busted if he stepped out of the car because he had a gun on him. So he did everything he could to not comply, up to and including trying to bolt out the passenger door.

He was pinched the minute he was pulled over. I’m having a hard time feeling sorry for three dudes rolling with a bunch of guns.

I used to tell my boyfriend the most dangerous thing we do is driving from our dealers house. In our case, two white dudes probably aren’t going to be profiled. I was more worried our dealer might be under surveillance. As always , my advice was to dummy up and call our criminal defense attorney friend.

Even now, we take risks driving through Indiana with marijuana in the car on our way to and from our place in Michigan. I wouldn’t put it past state coppers to profile Illinois plates.

police reports with several grains of salt. Police lie quite often. I'm betting that report never mentioned how they beat him in the head several times.

in a car, being forcibly removed by police,
forced to the ground,
two cops kneeling on their back side,
having their arms twisted behind them to be handcuffed,
while being told to relax.
Especially as another cop is kneeling at your face delivering punch after punch.

See how quick they might relax.
