(1,872 posts)The idea that nobody in New Zealand could have acquired the virus is specious.
Maybe if, like polio, it was eradicated, it would be one thing. But when neighboring nations are still dealing with surges, in an age where the rich travel internationally at will, this just looks like another super spreader event to me.
