Sidney Powell's attorney: Whitmer, Nessel misleading the public about ex-Trump counselor

Sidney Powell made a litany of unsubstantiated, false, refuted and ultimately debunked allegations in public comments and in court filings after the 2020 general election.

But those were her opinion, Powell's Michigan attorney argues in a new record filed Friday in federal court. And just because the former Donald Trump campaign counselor indicated in one lawsuit "no reasonable person would conclude that the statements were truly statements of fact" that should not mean her Michigan lawsuit was so baseless that it warrants court sanctions, the attorney argued..

Instead, Powell's attorney argues Gov. Gretchen Whitmer and Attorney General Dana Nessel are intentionally misleading the public and the court with their latest filing related to the so-called Michigan Kraken case, one of several federal election lawsuits filed by Powell and her team across the country.

Just use the courtroom to smear your political opponents and cancel elections if you happen to lose the vote tally even if absent fraud or wrongdoings by your political opponent. Be resourceful,... invent rampant fraud and run with it. Even if it requires contaminating the judicial process with your smear campaign of electoral improprieties that amount to nothing.
