Makes sense to delay it.

(10,300 posts)Dont know why. I think you can get a special license, and pay extra for it, but a year ago when I renewed the standard license still wasnt. I have a passport so Im ok but I dont like carrying that on domestic flights.

(32,161 posts)And a testament on how our government can get nothing done. The original deadline for Real ID was May 11, 2008. Almost 13 years ago. It has been extended over and over again by administration after administration.
Our government can't even get rid of the penny even though it is worthless, costs the government far more to produce than its worth and is wanted by no one except nerdy coin collectors. But that is another subject....
