Last week my son and I went and did our early voting here in our local

special election in Albuquerque. I prefer to early vote in person since I get to see my
vote get counted when my ballot is fed into the reader. When we went for early voting
there was no line and no waiting. It was in and out very quickly.

Today I drove past our polling location and and since it's the day for regular voting
there was a line of people waiting to get in to vote from the polling place entry all the
way out to the street, at least 50 yards long. There are big advantages to voting by
mail or doing the early bit. But no matter what, vote in every election!
