It also seems speculative. Couldn't it gain in value? Could he attempt to enact policies to make that happen? Seems like that could be a conflict of interest.

if it can even be done. There's some talk of his wanting to make NYC a crypto currency city but that would be foolish as it's so volatile. Personally I think this is a problem and don't understand the why of it.
