I'm Losing Patience With MSNBC....

Last edited Wed Nov 10, 2021, 03:49 PM - Edit history (1)

It's subtle - but many of the hosts and talking heads on MSNBC are shrewdly attacking Biden and the Dems and insidiously swaying voters away from Biden and the Dems and pushing them toward the Repugs.

I think a lot of Biden's recent lower poll numbers are attributed to MSNBC and the other MSM outlets (even the Late Night talk show hosts that make fun of Biden & the Dems) - every chance they get. They attack Biden and the Dems - ever so subliminally - using tactics from Vance Packard's Hidden Persuaders book to manipulate voters very handily.

I'm starting to call MSNBC - an insidious Fox ally - Fox Lite - as many of the hosts and talking heads on it seem to be trying to copy in an 'oh so subtle way' an attack.

Is anyone else getting this same feeling?

post a picture of Tr**p every time he mentions his name.

We all know what Tr**p looks like and it's not necessary to keep his mug in our face.

Bottom line the MSM keeps Tr**p in our psyche. Even if they are knocking Tr**p - they have to keep reminding us of him.

It's time to just ignore Tr**p and put him in the past - but they keep bucking up his potential for coming back in 2024 and they are making him a - virtual head - of the Repug Party.

Remember "Its the economy stupid."

I have three grandsons that live with us half the time. They eat a lot of good food. Our grocery bill is now $650/month.
Last year it was $450.
And they have something 4 nights a week which requires a 45 mile round trip drive.
We have a Prius V wagon thank goodness but our gas bill is still up 40%.
Filled up the propane tank in August it was $700 vs $400 last year.

This is starting to hurt.

but because the analysts don't factor for it they absorb that buzz too - as if those alternate reality constituencies that call biden a fascist communist senile mastermind are legit

msnbc is full of that analysis but it's worse elsewhere. all the attention they (like rachel) gave to the giuliani powell four seasons press conference and none of their research teams noticed it was timed to start with the limbaugh show and he already knew the script and echoed it to a much larger audience. trump was a talk radio president and they didn't notice. the insurrectionists are dittoheads but don't even get polled for it. russians have been using rw radio here and around the world at least a decade but they haven't noticed. trump used limbaugh/talk radio to call COVID a hoax to make it worse hoping to tank the economy create chaos and be able to call a national emergency and delay elections etc., and they didn't notice.

A lot of them were pretty positive about Biden until then. Ending that war cost some powerful people a lot of money, and they apparently are not going to forget it. I hate to say it, but I really don't think Biden's going to make it for another term. He'll step aside for someone else, lose to the Republican nominee, or he'll die.

Wed Nov 10, 2021, 05:43 PM
Nov 2021

Trump's abandoning of 19 military bases in Syria, bragging that Biden couldn't stop him. Their silence was coverup for the facts that as commander-in-chief he left F-15's at two airbases, ground weapons like tanks and artillery for the Turks and Russians. Nevermind that he airlifted absolutely no one, no Kurdish allies.
Criminal.

If media ever compared the two withdrawals, they'd have to cover a lot more information that would guarantee Biden's 2024 win ...

even with red state gerrymandering and nullification of the popular vote that's coming, which media won't dare cover, either.

That's what that was about. Veterans of these wars know.
Media hollering is often corporate coverup of worse news for their criminal presidents.

I don't think media was ever positive about Biden, and what it conveys now has always been media's plan.

Welch also started General Electric down the road of shutting American factories and exporting jobs to third-world countries. He started doing it in the early 1970's, and the rest of corporate America was amazed when they saw the profits and tax advantages Welch got for GE. Then they ALL started doing it.

But about turning NBC and MSNBC into "Repuke Ground Zero" - well that was Jack Welch's own personal crusade. Maybe he was the patron saint of Roger Ailes? I don't know.

Our grocery and gas bills go up every week. Most people will simply blame whoever is in power. Same with Covid still interfering with life.

We know the real reasons for these issues, but the other 70% of Americans don't get into the weeds with it, they blame the current President.

Add in Repugs hammering away on crime and borders, it is what it is, a recipe for 43% approval ratings.

Very few people actually watch MSNBC that would even be influenced either way. Pretty much only Dem diehards would watch it.
