Florida ordered 90,000 child vaccine doses. Texas ordered 1 million.
Compared to eight other states, Florida preordered the least number of pediatric COVID doses. But there doesn’t appear to be a shortage.

TALLAHASSEE — Florida health officials say they preordered approximately 90,000 child-size doses of the Pfizer vaccine. That’s enough to fully vaccinate 3 percent of Florida’s approximately 1.7 million children ages 5 to 11.

Texas, another Republican-led state, preordered 1 million doses — enough to fully vaccinate over 17 percent of the state’s children in the same age group. California preordered 860,000 doses, enough to fully vaccinate 13 percent of kids there.

The federal government does not publicize the amount of vaccine states are ordering through its distribution clearinghouse. The Tampa Bay Times compared Florida’s preorder to what eight other states have reportedly ordered. Florida, the third-most populated state, ordered the least of the nine.

Florida lags behind other large states.

considered for the first dose doubling the percent.

But, the point of the article from Florida is the extreme evil in the Florida government.

I live in Florida. The local comments on FB about Covid leave me wondering how these people get themselves dressed in the morning. “It’s just like the flu” Seriously? Y’all still believe that shit? And the answer is yes, yes they do. DeSatan was here to let them know he was going to fight Biden and his vaccine mandate. Then he hired that absolute whack job Ladapo. I did a little digging and found this. “DeSantis mega-donor, UF Board of Trustees chair supplied Ladapo's resume, fast-tracking surgeon general's hire” headline from the Tallahassee Democrat.

“This faculty is interested in coming to join the UF family. Google search him and see if you can guess the story. Will fill you in later but please keep confidential,” Nelson told his deans in a Sept. 2 email, hinting that Ladapo, a UCLA professor with controversial views on COVID-19, was the governor's choice for surgeon general.”
Nelson is the president of UF Health.
