Biden can turn his negative economic perception around easily.

Trump was on the news everyday to take credit for any positive news of the day. And he has to mostly lie. Biden has a lot of good economic news to promote. He doesn't have to have one hour speeches every day. Just make sure he has a clip every day to point out all the good indicators.

It's not as simple as pointing out good job reports or how great the stock market is doing when gas prices are high and inflation is causing price spikes in food. Regardless if they're his fault or not, they're still going to supersede strong job numbers because they're the things Americans feel the most.

If inflation and gas prices don't decrease, his numbers are going to continue to tank...even if he's out there talking up the strong economy.

If so, then we send out educational ads to show what we need to do to turn it around. If Covid is the problem, point out what Biden is doing to try to remove Covid as a factor in the work force. AND most of all, point out how the Republicans are doing EVERYTHING they can to tank Biden's success, including interfering with the success of Covid vaccinations.

Voters rarely care about the WHY. Just ask Jimmy Carter, whose entire presidency was undone largely by economic events out of his control.

H.W. Bush too.

You can explain until you're blue in the face what's wrong and why it's wrong but Americans are always going to blame the party in power for it no matter how great your explanation is.

We need to be working on how to get the supply chain up and functioning like it should.
I know of no easy solutions other than calling up National Guardsmen with CDLs to help
out major trucking companies who are currently short handed.

If we could get it to go viral, maybe someone with access to the White House could get the conversation started.

when that idea hit me like a ton of bricks, now if we could only get the powers that be in Washington
to start thinking outside the box.

Odds are that many of them already have jobs driving. Calling them up just removes them from their current jobs. You think that would be a net plus?

gas prices and food prices. We have to go to work and eat. Human nature insisted on eating for sure. It affects everyone.

...they can do if other countries who are hurting as well agree to dump half of their strategic reserves on the market which would definitely lower the gas prices. It would send a message to OPEC for sure. The best estimate I heard is it has the potential to drop gas prices by 65 - 85 cents. As wrong-headed as it is, most Americans judge the economy by the price they pay at the pump and paying $2.50 - $2.60 looks a lot better than where we are at now. Plus, it would show the general public that Biden is actively doing something about it.
