GOP congressman faces challenge to his medical license after prescribing ivermectin for COVID-19

Maryland's only Republican congressman, who is also a doctor, says he's facing a challenge to his medical license, the Washington Examiner reports.

Rep. Andy Harris reportedly told fellow lawmakers that someone filed a complaint after he revealed in September that he prescribed ivermectin to a patient as treatment for COVID-19.

"An action is currently being attempted against my medical license for prescribing ivermectin, which I find fascinating, because as an anesthesiologist, I know I use a lot of drugs off-label that are much more dangerous," Harris said.

This idiot that represents my district has no clue what he is talking about......maybe this jerk should read up on the book Code Breakers by Walter Isaacson to fully understand how drugs work and how they are developed, he probably has no clue what mRNA or DNA means when it comes to drug development and use.....just resign a**hole....you supported the insurrection.....and you tried to bring your right wing BS into the halls of Congress with a gun.....

Unfortunately, he is my representative. He is horrible. We had a terrific candidate running against him in the last election, whom we worked hard to support. Harris barely campaigned and won handily. We're hoping that Maryland will choose to redraw their district lines so that another candidate can have a fighting chance.

The prime motivating factor in my decision to become a star member of DU was the disgusting Andy Harris ads which kept popping up. Every ad was a lie. I'm glad that there's a possibility that there may be actual consequences for his behavior.
