You thought your Thanksgiving was bad.

A teenager in Georgia was arrested in the Atlanta area after allegedly killing his mother with a knife on Thanksgiving Day.

Varian Hibbert, 18, stands accused of multiple crimes in connection with his mother’s death. He has been charged with one count each of felony murder, aggravated assault, and possession of a knife during the commission of a felony. . . .

Police took a person of interest into custody at the residence and said that detectives were “investigating the motive for the assault.” . . .

That motive, so far, has proven elusive.

Last year, a man allegedly killed a woman at a Thanksgiving party after digging into leftovers with his bare hands–sparking an argument that ended in tragedy. In 2018, a man allegedly shot his own son following an argument about NFL players kneeling during the national anthem.

When people are brought together, conflict happens.

When conflict happens, sometimes it gets out of hand and murder occurs.

Did he scoop up a handful of cranberry sauce, or snag a wing and get dressed down for it? Sometimes writers can get a bit creative.

Ours are always just right.
No family for me but Mr Lake’s family is over twenty with nieces and nephews. Many of them have kids of their own.

Never one harsh word between them. Never some hostile grudge holder.

No maskholes or trumpers. Tho a couple might be closet Republicans. But the dinner table discussions were liberal.
