I would think (what I believe to be) healthcare professionals would be professional and wear their masks, like I see pretty much every in-office healthcare professional do nowadays...

I guess you simply asking the question where I am located means that, no, it absolutely is not standard for EMTs to wear their masks. And that's some absolute bullshit.

And to this day it persists.

Folks, it is simple as the ABCs. The vaccines are safe and effective. My mask protects you, your mask protects me. Social distance, stay safe, and take COVID seriously.

inside the hospital, waiting to transfer their patients, but in reality, it has been problematic throughout. Probably due to their frequent work with obstinate, anti-mask fire & rescue and police.

the proper protocol would be for them to change their mask every time they go into the next home.
And, I’ve noticed that EMT, as well as police,
Are still wearing only surgical masks - not N95s, as they should be. I can only assume that this is related to budgetary constraints.

Find them and track them down though google. Track them down through the hospital if that doesn’t work.

People here say the reason there is a shortage of first responders is because they are being fired for no vaccine. But every day in the local news you hear of another unvaccinated cop, firefighter or paramedic and/or people in their families who died from covid.
Tulsa is just barely over 50% vaccinated. But the counties around us are hovering in the 20's and they all come here to spend money. I was out more than usual over the holidays and it was rare to see anyone wearing a mask.
I'm high risk, I've been vaccinated and boosted, I still take all precautions including wearing a mask and for the foreseeable future will be avoid people as much as possible.
