There are so many other things that got charged to other accounts but because of some accounting rules are put in different columns but are the result of Trump's golf trips - like his trips abroad and he would go to one of his properties for golf or if a foreign leader visited him at one of his golf clubs so the whole trip got charged to State or something.

5. The actual, true costs

of a President's AirForce1 trips are GROSSLY understated. They must report just the price of the fuel used as the cost of the trip..........?????.

If they reported the complete and entire itemized True Costs of a President's Trips, the Tax payers would go ballistic..........
It would include the massive amount of money spent on JUST PREPARING for each and every trip........

And all the peripheral costs associated with the President's flights on AirForce1. Such as:

All planes are kept out of the area that that AF1 is flying out of, his route along the way, and the airport that they land at......
There are probably hundreds and hundreds of passenger/freight airlines that are put into a hold pattern, expending fuel, for quite some time during all this.........Can you even begin to guess the amount of the cost of the fuel for those planes???????????? And that is just one of the major fiscal effects of AF1 flying......There are considerably more direct and indirect costs.
If you really want to start looking at the expenses of a presidential trip think about how all the vehicles that are in the presidential motorcade get down there and back. Or the extra costs of the Secret Service Detail before the trip, during the trip, during the stay in whatever city, and their trip back to DC. And throw in the cost to the local LEO's for their additional personnel......
The costs just go on and on..............

Of course it wouldn't be truly representative unless you include in General Travel Expenses the incredible number of trips made all over the world by Trump's Spawn and flunkies.......The travel costs, paid by the U.S. Taxpayers for them, were not a whole lot different for all THEIR trips, junkets, vacations, hunting trips, personal business trips, international sightseeing travel, etc.......

In Trump's mind, he doesn't need to get his Trump JET back up and running at his expense, he fully plans on being back on AF1 in the very near future..........(and not ever again losing that privilege for the rest of his life)

13. Many years ago (I was still in the Army) I had to do some work at a facility

The facility was responsible for Presidential travel prep outside of AF1 and Marine1. When a President goes anywhere there are at least 3 other planes that go ahead of the President. They contain equipment to set up secure communications (voice, fax, computer, and satellite). They also include the Beast and a backup, other vehicles, admin personnel, military personnel (comm operators, protection teams...),

8. impeach

Since much of that taxpayer money was paid to Trump by the government, it's an impeachable offense under the Constitution's Emoluments clause.

In theory, Trump could still be impeached, even though out of office, and if convicted be barred from holding any federal office or appointment in the future.

Likewise, they could impeach him because he rented out rooms at his property to his own Secret Service detail. And booked rooms at his own properties to hold meetings with officials from foreign governments.

And frankly, it's on cowardly Democrats rather than anyone else that such an impeachment never has happened. Trump took his first trip to Mar-a-Lago during his first two weeks in office.
