Two can play this game:

The other day, Keith Olbermann‘s podcast brought to my attention that this guy from Kentucky who is going to be doing all these “investigations“ has a little problem of his own as evidenced in the link below. Apparently, this was a big deal in Kentucky when he was running as a candidate but of course it is “beneath us Democrats to bring this stuff up”, or at least it used to be. This scandal should be spread far and wide, and should eclipse his erstwhile investigation of all things Biden. Oh and according to the article, her mother was called and was told that her daughter would be killed. Details ….right?

Viral….this needs to go viral.

College girlfriend says James Comer abused her
Joseph Gerth@Joe_Gerth
A woman who dated gubernatorial candidate James Comer while the two were in college said in a letter to The Courier-Journal on Monday that he was physically and mentally abusive to her during what she said was a two-year relationship.

"Did Jamie Comer ever hit me? Yes," wrote Marilyn Thomas, who attended Western Kentucky University with Comer in the early 1990s.

Comer's lawyer, Dick Plymale, of Lexington, said in an interview that Comer "profusely denies" all the allegations in the letter and promised a "devastating lawsuit" against the newspaper if it published the story.

2. As I see your virality point, the real problem is whether she produces proof.

Her simply having filed a complaint with police would take care of that. But that evidence is not apparent here, and so if she can't prove her claim, he might just have a defamation case. It's his money/speech against hers, though he'd still have the plaintiff's problem of proving loss, harm or damage.

Grabs, trumps their candidates history of any abuse, pedophilia, forcing girlfriends/wives to get abortions, faking military credentials, living in state different fr one they are running for office in, etc...among most rethugs, these are seen as positives

Gradually convinces their victim to accept physical and emotional abuse or she went through it.

She gives a text book case of how abusers capture their victims. She either is a well educated psych major or she lived this experience.

His signature on the abortion clinic form is pretty damning evidence too.

The woman named in it, never wanted to come forward about the abuse. But thanks to the blogger, Mike Adams, who uncovered it and named her as the victim.

IMO the 2 men who expose this story helped to heap further abuse on her by forcing her to come forward.

In her letter, Thomas said she wanted to avoid coming forward.

"I feel as if I have no choice but to speak up against the lies," she wrote to The Courier-Journal. "The underbelly of the internet has painted me as a crazy person, a liar, an opportunist, a fame-seeker, and a bitter ex-girlfriend. … (E)nough is enough."

Snip

Case in point...

In months of discussions with The Courier-Journal, Thomas said repeatedly she wanted only to be left alone. The newspaper never pressed her to speak.

IOW they repeated contacted her even after she made it clear she wanted to be left alone. Then the author denied he pressured her.

"The fact that I am speaking out now is not something I approached lightly. As a matter of fact, I feel under great duress in doing it now. I do not want to be involved in this. This letter will be the last thing that I say about Jamie Comer and my past relationship," she wrote.

Republicans exposed and pressured a woman to come forward about her abuse I personally don't think it should be held up as a shining example of something that Dems need to do. All to score political coin. If a woman wants to come forward, that is a different story.

This guy is going run roughshod over any logical, righteous arguments which we make and it will dispirit a fair number of our constituents. I want to see him fending this stuff off rather than saying that Rep.Raskin is a Commie or whatever. Sorry….this is war, and in war many suffer terribly.
