Ex-RNC Chair Makes Stark Prediction About Rep. MTG

As I opined a few days ago, MTG has Kevin McCarthy's balls in the palm of her swarmy hands and will squeeze as tightly as she can to get the most out of him this next Congressional session. Looks like I was not the only one to think that way. Ex-RNC Chairman Michael Steele backs me up.

Source: Huff Post

Michael Steele warned about what could come next from the far-right Georgia Republican.

Michael Steele, a former chair of the Republican National Committee, warned Friday that extremist Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) will essentially be the next speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives in all but name.

The conspiracy theory-peddling Greene and other far-right GOP lawmakers will hold enormous sway over House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) should he be elected the chamber’s next speaker in January, Steele said on a broadcast of MSNBC’s “Morning Joe.”

Greene “will be the most powerful speaker of the House because she will have the opportunity to control what comes out of Kevin’s mouth around the things that matter to that small cadre,” he predicted.

Buckle your seat belts. It's going to be a bumpy ride.

That scenario looks real to moderate Rs, the more there will be of them, especially newly elected, who might be willing to defect to vote for a very different choice. With a few defections, someone of the Democrats' choosing could end up being Speaker.

Support Adam Kinszinger for Speaker of the House. He was willing to to take the traitors in his party to task, over his CAREER.

Old school leaders like McConnell have been quietly supportive of his party's agents of chaos, but also strongly protective of his own style of facade of legitimacy. Is it possible that a GOP House - that likely cannot accomplish anything but obstruction anyway - is going to go too far and end up like Trump's pal Ye?

Going from the most powerful Speaker to the most bumbling Speaker. Reminds me of going from President Obama to the Orange Buffoon. How did the republicans go this low?
