Do Hobby Lobby execs watch television?

A Hobby Lobby commercial came on, the one where the little girl draws a picture and the subject shows up in her yard the next day. It ended with the line, “Christmas is what you make of it.” Then the picture immediately changed to, shall we say, a seductively attired young woman inviting viewers to do their holiday shopping at a particular adult toy store.

I managed to mostly stifle my guffaw, seeing as how it’s after midnight. But I can’t help thinking that whoever put those ads in that order deserves a raise.

Ho Ho Ho

Since he accepts advertising he must acknowledge that t.v.(s) exist. Him, separate from the execs. UTUSN Dec 2022 #3

Based on what cable or streaming company you have, what commercial you see may or may not be controlled by the primary outlet you have.

A few years ago a local salesman chatted about how he had past employment over there, at a very high level in management, his office a few doors down from the owner's. He said he had to quit because of a family emergency and that the company was very generous with him in his situation.

He also said that the owner doesn't allow computers for running the business because of his religious nuttery, that the execs have begged him to use them for management of the business to no avail, and that he has specified in his Will that if any of his beneficiaries attempt to implement them after he's gone they will be cut off .
