It doesn't take long to do it right. For me to work on that, I'd have a jack stand under the axle at that corner, at least, and have the other 3 wheels chocked. Brakes are changed in pairs, so I'd likely have the whole rear end up with a jack stand under each side.

No telling how much weight was in the truck bed and those tool boxes.
