And that was a near miss and a valiant effort by our friends in NC. And their efforts forced Romney to use resources and time in NC that they needed elsewhere.

Indiana also flipped, but Obama did not compete in Indiana. If not for Citizen's United, Obama would have competed in Indiana and won that one. After all , the Dem Senator candidate won.

That was a strategic decision based on the financial reality of Citizen's United. If he had competed in Indiana, he would have won. The Dem candidate for Senate won.

And we probably would have won the Governorship. It was a tough decision for the campaign to make, but the right decision.
