Some unexpected poseurs together in pics, which can go either way: Fraternal colleagues, a version of "bi-partisanship", or a sign of the whole barrel's being rotted.
A line from Carson McCULLERS's book (Reflections in a Golden Eye) comes to mind: In the movie version the Julie HARRIS character (a Southern genteel lady) gets sort of railroaded into a mental health facility and when she is initiated into patients acting like out of One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, she says, "What a choice crew."

Mediaite celebrated our Most Influential in News Media list this year with a party at Fine & Rare in New York City on Tuesday night. The celebration brought out an incredible mix of top anchors, editors, reporters, pundits, executives, and everyone else that helped make the news in 2022.
Big names from Mediaites list of the 75 media players most influential this year made showings at the party, which kicked off Tuesday evening as the news cycle remains fixated on impeachment. Attendees included Chris Licht, Sunny Hostin, Megyn Kelly, Douglas Brunt, Ari Melber, Jay Sures, Kaitlin Collins, Donie OSullivan, Bill Hemmer, Brian Ross, Jessica Tarlov, Vicky Ward, Sean Spicer, Kennedy, Ann Coulter, John Avlon, Steve Doocy, Brian Stelter, Pat Kiernan, Tara Palmeri, Chris Collins, Laura Coates, Kristina Partsinevelos, Elie Honig, Oliver Darcy, Molly Jong-Fast, Jim Acosta, Andrew Ross Sorkin, Charles Payne, Julie Banderas, Bryan Llenas, Bill OReilly, Max Tani, Lydia Moynihan, Rachel Stockman, Brian Buckmire, Jesse Webber, Terri Austin, Michael Calderone, and, of course, your hosts Dan Abrams and the staff of Mediaite (among many others).

so they "come together", no harm no foul.
Dog eat dog is the name of their game? It's obvious whenever a personality gets kicked out, they become Non-persons and none of the former co-hosts ever mention them.
Poor STELTER was at the bash, smiling big. **** Oh, and LICHT (who cancelled him) was there, too. No hard feelings, nobody taking things personally - the secret of the universe. And COLBERT says his ex-producer LICHT (who originally came from the SCARBOROUGH shop) is *not* trying to make CNN into FoxLite, that he has "the best of intentions."

(26,045 posts)And, besides, what planet do these people live on, to be saying, as of December of 2022, that "the news cycle remains fixated on impeachment?" My first thought was that they were recycling an article from this time in 2019.
