You would think after the FBI got a warrant, raided Trumps resort and found secret documents and still believe Trump is hiding more secret documents, they would want a warrant to surveil Trumps every move. The FBI brought down the mafia by bugging their phones, spying on them.
Just a thought.

(2,314 posts)My guess is TFG is now remembering Cohn's advice and using a variety of burner phones rather than his compromised normal phone.
So, would need to surveil people he would likely contact via their phones as well.
But...his ego may prevent doing that.

Their use of the little known [at the time] RICO laws is what finally brought the Mob down. That's how the strategy of starting with soldiers at the bottom and working up through Capo to the head of the Mob family organizations got going.
It worked with the Five Families.
It'll work with the sixth -- the Trunp-Kushner clan.

(7,870 posts)they've been with Trump since he left the White House...how is they weren't aware of the stolen documents or where they were stored?..or were they the inside informant?
as for surveillance, why bother..Trump can't keep his mouth shut...he's already "fessed up" to taking the documents "openly and transparently"..and the DOJ and the National Archives know what documents are missing and I suspect where they are stashed...
