So what's next? With the committee expiring, will everything now go opaque?

DOJ is under no legal pressure to do anything with the referrals.

Will informed speculation be the long and short of it until we hear of indictments, if ever?

Was the work of the committee just a stick into a hornet's nest?

What will be the fallout when the four House ethics referrals result in middle fingers and guffaws from the GQP in general and the referrees specially?

Certainly not the J6 committee. Seems like some kind of strawman argument?

What’s next is DOJ keeps up the investigation and finishes up with the multiple Grand Juries, who are apparently still hearing testimony that Trump didn’t want them to hear.

It is pretty clear Jack Smith is working his ass off. If you are following the news, it is also clear when one reads DOJ filings and court rulings that knock the fucking crap out of Trump’s silly appeals that the DOJ is working hard.

There’s more info out there about Smith and DOJ.

Also, if the real powers that be don’t want indictments, and the government officials don’t push in spite of the forces in the background, well it will fade away.

Now is the time all us grassroots to make sure we shout loud and clear what we desire to happen.

Personally, my biggest hope is that when all is said and done, none of them will ever be allowed to hld any kind of office again.

1) Yes the referrals mean little. The GOP in the past has sent criminal referrals for Comey, McCabe and even Eric Holder a few years earlier.

2) Yes if the DoJ does their job, no leaks until the indictment.

3) The work was critical... in fact. it'll be the information used by history books.

4) That won't turn into anything... it never does. And the House Ethics Cmte is GOP led in a couple weeks.

The DOJ should not be under the pressure of anything but the pursuit of justice. That is all that I ask, and everything that Trump dreads.

The largest accomplishment of the J6 committee is that they are putting out the evidence for all to see. They have kept the upcoming congress from making it all disappear, locking it away for 50 years or so, that the "country can heal."
