Democratic-led House committee to decide whether to publicly release Trump tax returns

New York Daily News
Former President Donald Trump’s tax returns may finally be made public when a Democratic-controlled committee meets Tuesday to decide what to do about the documents after a years-long legal fight.

The House Ways and Means Committee will convene to decide whether to publicly release six years of Trump’s returns that it won over the ex-president’s objections.

Constitutional amendment. The way it’s being done is the only way to get them from candidates who refuse to release them. This is the method that will be used from here on out to those who refuse.

they might be doing so out of fear that some future Republican House or Senate will seek revenge on a Democratic president by getting his or her returns and making them public. All out of spite.
