Curious minds want to know. After 2008, the big hints came when the cabinet was announced. Will the inevitable cabinet "shakeup" indicate what the second term will bring?

(20,998 posts)Our goal should be to bring as many people into the democratic process as possible, and make sure that EVERY vote is fairly and EFFICIENTLY counted.
Second: Medicare for all.
Third: Raise the caps on Social Security to fully fund it and guarantee long-term solvency.
Fourth: Appraise and reallocated the military "black hole" consuming half the yearly wealth of this country, positively emphasizing programs that benefit veterans and their families.
Fifth: National marijuana reform and across-the-table re-evaluation of the current "war on drugs."

(20,998 posts)...because yet another election has transpired where wholesale blocks of our citizens -- the poor, minorities, students -- had their right to lawfully and legally cast their ballot interfered with.
THIS IS A DEMOCRACY. We are better than this.
The challenges that face our country -- even face our world -- required that EVERYONE be part of the decision-making and the responsibility process. Everyone. No exceptions.

I'm sure everyone will get upset, but some changes in SS/Med. are coming. I'll get upset too. But they're coming. This happens every decade.
No war with Iran. Done.
Hopefully he'll get rid of Goldman Sachs people in his cabinet.

(22,923 posts)Personally, I'm leaning toward media reform, since our corporate media influences the electorate in so many ways, all negative.
We need a free press again in order to most effectively move forward with the myriad critical issues we're facing.
