IRS should be fully funded to collect all taxes due according to law. Rich and poor alike.

Corporate or personal. Dividend or interest.

It’s not that hard, why is it even an issue?

Tax avoiders and cheats steal from hardworking folks in the $Billions upon Billions! We want our money back, you thieves!

And no more fuel tax breaks for corporate and personal jets, ok? That’s a bit rich!

No, the 87,000 personnel scheduled to be hired in the years to come are not all auditors, but will help make the IRS a functional agency again.

Unless you fabulously wealthy, then it’s a monster, apparently. The rich fear fairness.

The whole purpose though is one thing, fairness for all, isn’t it? Why do the rich fear fairness?

for investigation, it makes sense for the IRS to go where the money is first, i.e. the wealthiest taxpayers.

delay, delay, delay, settle without penalties! How about everyone agree to pay fair share, per the law and fully fund IRS so fair to everyone.

Who will do the examinations of the other 200 million returns?

People, typically small business owners or contractors/consultants, who make enough to to pay annual taxes around the $20k or above, but don't have enough income to have a tax lawyer or accountant on call.
