This marked a dramatic shift from his first run for Congress in 2020, when he reported earning $55,000 per year.”

There was a post yesterday with a video from his opponent, who claimed that Santos' shenanigans were well known to him and his campaign, but they couldn't get any traction from the media to publicize it. I put myself in the "unpersuaded" category; I don't think they tried very hard to expose Santos.
