J6 Chairman in MSNBC interview said DOJ

Still hasn’t deposed many people, none of the fake electors, and reportedly couldn’t find people they wanted to subpoena before Jack Smith was appointed.
This is incredible. Why in the hell did it take 2 years to appoint Jack Smith if DOJ wasn’t going to move swiftly or even at all when our Capitol was attacked and democracy was nearly snuffed out? The silence wasn’t due to prudence, it was due to inaction.

unless you want a lot of negative responses. I have remained extremely disappointed in his efforts and the timing of the investigation by his DOJ. I stand by my opinion of him...call the DU Jury on me for not supporting a Dem. I do not care. It is an opinion that has constantly been reinforced.

7. I tend to judge by action, not words. The proof is in the puddling, or lack thereof.

I have been repeatedly bashed here for saying nothing was happening. Well, guess what, almost nothing was happening.
A sitting member of congress took the 5th when asked questions. It’s all so unbelievable.

5. Who does the day to day work at the DOJ? What are their priorities, motives, values?

There lies the answers to what hasn't been done, or why.

The DOJ is a giant ocean liner. Yeah, the captain is nominally in charge, but it is a polite fiction that the captain is steering the thing or making it go. Nothing happens unless the various crew members working in conjunction make it happen.

Edit for clarity: I'm in no way defending Garland, I'm saying that even if he were the hero some around here claim him to be, he would accomplish nothing if the career DOJ people weren't actually doing the work faithfully. Swapping out the couple dozen top people in the department every 4, 8, or 12 years for their Bizarro-versions doesn't change who makes up the mass of the department, which is what determines what happens most of the time.

They haven't even deposed the fake electors???????? COME ON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I live in Michigan, just looked it up. it was Jan 15th 2022 that our AG Dana Nessel saw the fake elector scheme as Federal crime and requested DOJ to investigate.
